An Elder for the Elder Community and Community at large, who takes the public interest seriously
Joe Viglione for Ward 3 Councilor?
When elder services asked me to perform piano, for free, I stepped up and played music in the community room
at Whittier Drive ...one woman saying "It sounds like I'm on a cruise." I did my best to play the music that the
community would appreciate, and add a pleasant, new dimension to the public space.
Probably the year before Mr Anthony DiPierro was born I fought the now Comcast (Continental Cablevision, Media One and later AT & T, powerful enemies) for cable TV rights for Stoneham and Woburn. The headline of the paper screamed
MAYOR DEVER PUTS VIGLIONE BACK ON THE AIR.
TV3 Medford - which I decided to clean up - vowed they would not see that kinda headline in the Medford papers when I was investigating them. One board member telling the city council "I'll be damned if you take TV 3 away from us." I forced Mayor McGlynn to shut down TV 3 with a councilor and a witness, ex-board member. October 2013 TV 3 Medford was gone.
So I ask the arrogant ex board member of TV 3 Medford "How does it feel to be damned in hell, Ronny?"
Mayor Dever of Woburn, Mayor McGlynn of Medford, now I respectfully ask a good mayor, Carlo DeMaria, to
distance himself from his cousins, because they do great damage to Everett ...and to him. Heck, when
Woburn's Mayor Curran was next to me at my locker at the gym, I praised his good work. He told me he
didn't hear that much, and appreciated it.
The years in Medford taking the TV station to many courthouses actually gives me more courtroom experience than many lawyers. TV3's lawyer threatened my life five times in three courthouses. When we ended all the cases in a new court, Middlesex Superior, the TV 3 lawyer was so impressed with the man he threatened to kill, that he told my lawyer he wanted to take me to be HIS client....saying, "Joe, I don't have to LIKE all my clients (a slap at TV3), and telling my lawyer he could make it "6 in 4" (meaning, six death threats in four courthouses....because we were in a new courthouse. ) You can't make this stuff up.
Judge Gailey actually threw the lawyer off of the case, because of my testimony. And one of my witnesses, the Medford City Lawyer, actually RESCUED the guy, putting him back on the case (shame on you ex
Solicitor Rumley --- my witness giving legal advise to the lawyer I had thrown off of the case.) For Rumley's punishment I had Judge Yee throw HIM off of a witness stand in Somerville Court, where Rumley was collecting credit card bills instead of doing city business.
It's not nice to go after the piano player!!!
OK, so I do more than play piano, which is why this tenacious bull dog, at 70, wants to be persistent to HELP elder citizens of Everett, and ALL citizens of Everett.
Anthony DiPierro does not do that. He hands out trick or treat bags in the community room after ex councilor
Nick Saia rips down a poster from Mystic Valley Elder to post juvenile delinquent DiPierro's campaign paraphernalia in the EHA laundry room, where it doesn't belong. Shame on Nicky and Tony, shame, shame, shame. Darren Costa didn't do that, nor will I, because we play by the rules.
Disreputable DiPierro is on the council to do the mayor's bidding. I submit that Mayor DeMaria doesn't need that kind of help from Anthony DiPierro's unclean hands. Your cousin is dirty, Mr Mayor , and if you rub up against a dirty barrel, the dirt gets on you.
We want our mayor to have clean hands and if he shakes his cousin's devil hands, his hands get dirty.
Distance yourself, cousin Carlo, from your two DiPierro cousins. They are a burden
The late mayoral candidate in Medford, John Byers, told me he ran into a court clerk at Somerville District Court. She nicely asked him how I and he were doing with TV 3. Johnny said "same old/same old" and he alleged that she said to him "Joe had us court clerks put on court probation."
I didn't know that. I did go to the head judge of the Commonwealth to move a TV3 trial from Somerville to Cambridge District Court. A Winthrop attorney told me "You'll never get it done." Well, I did get it done, the
judge moved it out of crazy Somerville District Court, and allegedly put the clerks on "court probation."
The lawyer said to me "You are amazing." He went on to hire me to write public records requests for his
company!
Don't you love it, Mr. Donato? Rep Paul Donato didn't believe I got Governor Patrick to remove the mayor's uncle from Medford Housing Authority's board, then he realized that I did.
So when you talk about political experience, knowledge of music, how to manage an AIR BNB, or manage the recording studio of the New Kids on the Block, or the Rolling Stones' producer, Jimmy Miller, I've done all of it. I've booked bands into the Worcester Centrum, the Hard Rock Cafe, worked on booking part of the first 1985 show in Boston Jon Bon Jovi ever played, (Bon Jovi's uncle, Tony Bongiovi (real spelling of name) took me to dinner, and the band AC/DC was sitting across from me in his studio) and Anthony DiPierro, I just might be coming after the WARD 3 seat.
Maybe I'll ask AC/DC or Bon Jovi or one of the Rolling Stones to play my victory party (bet on it being one of the Stones, we're very close, and I'll ask Mayor Carlo to fly him over from England. I was his publicist and had him at the Hard Rock
Cafe in Boston many years ago. Who needs cousins, Carlo, when you've got me to help you!)
Public servants need to check their definitions as to who they serve, and why: "Community at large" means the broader population or society as a whole, encompassing people beyond a specific group or neighborhood; essentially, referring to the general public within a given area or context.
I submit that Anthony DiPierro is clearly contrary to public interest.
When Mr. DiPierro supports Black History Month on his Facebook page (see attachment,)
it is insulting, cruel and a sick joke. Think Adolf Hitler speaking at a Jewish temple.
AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAD TO RESIGN FROM THE COUNCIL FOR HIS RACISM,
THE GOVERNOR (AS A.G.) SAYING DIPIERRO HAS NO PLACE IN CITY GOVERNMENT,
NOT SERVING YOUR NEEDS, BUT LOOKING FOR RESPECT DIPIERRO NEVER EARNED,
AND DOES NOT DESERVE. TAXPAYER MONEY FLUSHED INTO HIS FILTHY, RACIST POCKET.
The hypocrisy is appalling and must stop. It can only stop by removing the bigot through
exposing DiPierro's juvenile antics. Do you really want a tenth-grade spitball shooter who
is what? about 29 years of age, embarrassing the community with his hate?
A full-blown racist at Ward 3 is serious city council malpractice Is even a hint of personal political gain fair to the residents of a community?
Is even a hint of personal political gain, or political gain for someone else fair to the residents of a community?
I will be the Ward 3 Councilor who helps remove disruptive alcoholics, racist flag-waving individuals who say GOD BLESS AMERICA, SAY IT OR GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM, a racist that Everett Housing seemingly protects (3 stores on Route 99 allegedly have thrown the racist out.)
Anthony DiPierro has proven one thing since his 2023 rise to power, he does not give a damn about the community, especially the elder community. His aunt ignores the complaints on her bad, bad nephew and allows bad people who support nephew Anthony to flourish, at the risk of seniors getting hurt physically and emotionally.
With Joe Viglione as your Ward 3 Councilor, you will have the safety Housing promises on its website, yet fails to deliver. I will clean the bad element at Everett Housing out like I did at
Medford Housing (not uncle Gene, the guy I removed, he was a good person abused by his nephew, Mayor McGlynn.) I saved uncle Gene and removed him from bad Mike McGlynn, his nephew in Medford, I intend to save Mayor Cousin Carlo from his bad cousins, the two of them, and the Mayor doesn't even have to thank me.
Anthony DiPierro and his aunty, who I not-so-affectionately call "Screaming Mimi", both need to exit ...as your Ward 3 Councilor I promise to fight like hell to send them packing.
Unlike Mr. DiPierro, I don't need to cling to coattails to do so. I've got the experience.
I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I do not drink. Can Anthony say that? I will ask him in the debate to say the same thing,
and have cameras in the neighborhood to keep a watchful eye on Anthony.
And at 70, well, I wouldn't go after George Foreman, even retired, if court clerks, and uncles, and TV stations have tasted my tenacity, don't go where angels fear to tread.
They never listen. As a DJ said to me when we were removing his program director boss "This is going to be fun."
We did remove the payola-ridden jerk. And victory was, indeed, very sweet.
Respectfully, your next Ward 3 Councilor?
Joe Viglione
