Enclosed are some photos from the wonderful October Senior Social
Thoughts: This was an impressive event with great food and lots of
good conversation. With both Rob Van Campen and Carlo DeMaria
in the house the observation was quite telling.
Said Hi to His Honor who looked extremely glum Is internal polling getting
to him? As I told the mayor that he is in my documentary film, in a good light,
but Mr. DeMaria looked concerned. He went up to a women he knew and
said "You are voting for me again?" And I did not hear her answer him.
On the other hand, look at the photos, Van Campen is surging here,
at St Theresa's Breakfast this morning (where I hear the Latino crowd
is saying how they are NOT voting for DeMaria) so you can do the
math: if not voting for DeMaria, is there an anti-DeMaria crowd voting
for Rob Van Campen? It makes sense.
Last week I wasn't ready to make a prediction, but seeing the smile
on Van Campen and how he can work a crowd, and seeing Carlo
looking very, very nervous, it seems we have to give the edge to
Van Campen at this moment.
Saw a lone Jean Daniel sign on the way home. Hidden among other
signs after the rotary that brings you to Ferry St. is there ever a
candidate in the history of Everett who will get minus votes?
Like Negative 17? It can happen, and Mr. Daniel is the one to deliver
the non-votes, going down on the Bad Ship DeMaria....sinking like the
Titanic, it seems

With election day November 4 about 27 days away, is it all down hill for Carlo?
