She is so professional, do not hold Carlo DeMaria's sins against his sister-in-law, she has been professional and helpful to me for 4 years and I told Mayor Van Campen so.
Questions for Candidates 4/29/2026
Here are my questions for candidates
1)Public Safety
Exhibit 1 (attached) is a photo of a hat in the door at 3 Whittier. This had kept the front door unlocked for months, and there was no Quiet Enjoyment or public safety for the woman on
the top floor across from me, and the woman on the 1st floor.
Q: :Will you move quickly to remove drug dealers, casino owners, crazed tenants off of their meds and sexual harassers which Mr. Kergo and his staff allowed to flourish?
It took Mr. Kergo almost a year after he threatened to evict the casino owner for putting the hat in the door, yet he only moved him to Shute St. where the alleged misconduct allegedly continues. He did not evict that menace to society and public safety, as promised.
2)Quiet Enjoyment
Q: A tenant of EHA is allegedly banned by Dunkin' Donuts, the variety store and other businesses on McKinely/Route 99. I have photos of the police talking to him before they allegedly put him in a psych ward
What will you do to protect the tenants of Whittier from some individual allegedly off of his meds singing "God Bless America" at 6- 7 am in the morning, his voice echoing in the canyon of Whittier Drive?
A staffer, Person A, paid $75,200.00 came to my apartment screaming and yelling, with no notice, enraged that she was brought to court under subpoena. How will you rein in staff, no matter how closely related to a former mayor, when they endanger heart patients and the ill and infirmed
(four individuals died at Whittier in the past 8 months)
3)Denial of Services for Rent
The back hall was a disaster, squalor, at 3 Whittier Drive prior to my moving in, on or about April 21, 2022. There were no lights for 3 months.
A staffer, Person B, and a good friend of Carlo DeMaria,
has shown apathy, downright laziness, and a failure to give services to tenants who pay rent. What will you do with negligent staff politically connected - thinking they can collect a paycheck and not do what the mission statement requires?
4)Harassment by Housing Authority staff
Person A and Person B, send a flurry of unwarranted
eviction notices to raise the blood pressure of tenants with serious illness. How will you handle politically connected individuals who engage in egregious elder abuse? Can you stand up to individuals who have friends in high places? Including the courts.

Warsh's answer was not proper. Will a new
Exectuve Director cave in to the "powers that be"
as Mr. Kergo does in cowardly fashion, with all
his years of experience and massive paycheck (while\
tenants struggle with high rent and few services....
the front door at 3 Whittier Drive is broken and
it will probably take months to fix it after my neighbor
reported it to Maintenance 4/21/26 and I did the day
before.
5) Breaking and Entering Into Apartments with NO NOTICE
A neighbor complained that with the roofing jobs individuals keep the keys to the second apartments they were moved into
Will a new Executive Director change the locks so that
people will not enter into their old apartment and staal from
the new tenants? Will a new E.D. want to save money and
not give a damn about public safety? As seems to be the
case currently
5 b)Person A on Staff told me she could "come to my apartment
at any time." Person A has shown up with no notice screaming and yelling, and then perjuring herself in court papers
Will you - as E.D. - ensure this bullying and elder abuse ends and that any individual engaging in Person A, Person B, and
Person C (a night Maintenance man) cannot abuse tenants
per the order of Person A, and that they all be fired for cause?
See Exhibit 2 where Steven Kergo admitted no 24 hour notice entering my apartment while I was at Tufts Cardiologist July 3, 2025 Breaking and Entering is a crime and unacceptable.
6)Violation of State Ethics Commission rules
Ex City Councilor Nick Saia is on video from 21 Whittier Drive removing a Mystic Valley Elder poster for a Halloween Party from the community room's laundry area, and replacing it with a picture of Carlo DeMaria's cousin, Anthony DiPierro, a nephew of a staffer
at Everett Housing. This resulted in
Exhibit 4, DiPierro banned permanently from ever having a party on EHA Property
Will you, as E.D., stand up to the individuals
who allowed DiPierro to unethically post in the room, even after Exhibit 4, the
10/23/23 letter, aided and abetted by the room coordinator - a Mystic Valley
employee (Person D) who worked in concert with Persons A, B and C to allowthis
malfeasance to occur and who
6B)now face retaliation complaints for all working on behalf of Mr. DiPierro, a city councilor who had resigned for his flagrant racism
Does a new E.D. have the courage and honesty to do what the current E.D. has failed to do, Carlo DeMaria laughing to me and blaming the current Executive Director when I met with the former mayor.
Mr. Kergo - like any leader - has to be held responsible for his failure and the failure of his subordinates. Will you, the new E.D., be a mere puppet putting seniors at further risk?
7)Sexual Harassment
A late tenant sexually harassed a man and a woman at the community room. EHA put a "restraining order agreement" on the individual with deficient attorney
Francis La Rovere (who put that Agreement under "209 a" – which is actually not for my case; it is for husbands and wives or boyfriend/girlfriend - I am not an attorney) When the late sexual harasser/drunk violated the R/O on May 18, 2023, Person A on staff did not evict him as she promised, endangering all the tenants
Will you ensure no Sexual Harassment occurs? Room Coordinator at 21 Whittier (Person D) jokingly asked if I was having sex with my Personal Care Assistant (PCA)... I turned and walked away immediately, disgusted with such buffoonery.
Will you as E.D. fire such a negligent room coordinator or will you continue to be beholden to politically connected elder abusers?
8)Violence against Elders
"Crazy Charlie" swings a big American flag in the community room, then has the police come saying that he is the victim. Person A sends an eviction notice to the real victim (me) angry that I issued a subpoena for her and the room coordinator to go to court (where both their lawyers committed perjury-via-counsel)
However, at Neighborhood PACE a Crazy Carlie, or BB, the late sexual harasser, or "the silver haired munchkin" as one tenant calls an abusive woman who maliciously destroyed the top of the piano pouring water on it, all those people would be removed as we sign a document to always be civil
Person A and Person B actually blame me for saving the piano, which MVES had me volunteer to play for 2 years (until the hostility became unbearable)
Will you, as Executive Director, stop two people from running the room and posting their puzzles and artwork to the detriment of the 120 apartments or so here?
Or will you continue the malfeasance caused by Mystic Valley Elder, which actually sought my confidential medical records from my new medical provider ostensibly to help Person A in her elder abuse/harassment of this rent paying tenant.
Essentially, will you put the Community Room up for BID so PACE or another organization that is ethical will take over and not allow a)Anthony DiPierro to post political paraphernalia on Housing property B)Stop the late town drunk kind of people from programming the TV set to deny other tenants the TV, C)Stop the puzzle makers from controlling the room and locking a bureau to hold their personal property?
D)Hold Mystic Valley Elder responsible for encouraging the bad behavior?
9)Alleged Drug Dealing
There allegedly were four drug dealers at Whittier, one passing away. Will you as E.D. stop the drug dealing and remove the offenders, who allegedly borrow money from elders that they never pay back?
Allegedly, one dealer is on probation and is known to Person A at Housing
10Defamation of Character
Persons A, B, C at EHA and D at MVES defame a rent-paying tenantfor his filing of Grievances, MGL 93A letters and Public Records Requeststo better this community, called a "slum" by other tenants.
Will you as E.D. stop the defamation and elder abuse of our seniors by these renegade bullies employed by Housing, and fire them for cause?
11)A replacement for Mystic Valley Elder Services at
21 Whittier Community Room and at EHA
Will you find a strong person to run the community room who is
not abusive with sexual harassment, and the inability to stop the
town drunk from photographing residents without their permission,
and allowing the worst of the worst to benefit from MVES while
denying the good tenants equal time?
12 I want Kevin Johnson to answer this:
"Did you work for DHCD (Department of Housing and Community Development) https://www.mass.gov/info-details/overview-of-the-department-of-housing-and-community-development as Stephen Kergo allegedly did, and were you allegedly involved in
regionalizing housing authorities allegedly without
telling the public?
If so, why should Everett Housing Authority
engage in the same old/same old?
